I extend a warm welcome
to you, who have taken the time out to view the 5 West Citizens’ Association website.
I am elated to be apart of this incredible executive body and also proud to be a
resident living in the 5 West sector. I was amongst the few who saw the need
for a vibrant citizen association to be re-established within this sector, as
there are pressing task that need to be embrace with a sense of urgency. We the
executive body is ready to embrace these tasks with humility and courage and
with the good Lord in the midst we will smile at any storm. One of the main tasks
that we are currently working on is our youths. We are creating avenues to get
our youths involve in meaningful activities and to be a part of this association.
Also, to establish a neighborhood watch, a recreational park, netball and
basketball court, youth club and the beautification of this sector. However, we
the executive members and members from the association cannot do it alone; we
need the corporation from you the citizen to make 5 West the number one sector
in Greater Portmore.
